Ice or water dragon boating makes Winnipeg home to one of the largest competitive programs in Canada that continue to represent globally each year.  Dragon boating is an essential part of our Winnipeg heritage and it helps promote diversity and inclusion amongst athletes which can be seen as young as 12 up to 85 in our programs.  As we are commonly referred to as Winterpeg it should be no surprise we have learned to adapt these boats and train during our winter months for ice dragon boating.
